Nyon, Switzerland – May 26, 2025 – Renaud Tixier, the independent haute horlogerie brand founded by master watchmaker Dominique Renaud and known for bridging innovation and traditional craftsmanship, is proud to announce the expansion of its retail presence in Asia. This strategic development includes new partnerships in Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong—three key markets for discerning collectors in the region.
They are the first retailers to receive the final version of the ‘Monday’ watch. A manifesto of rarity and excellence, Monday — the brand’s inaugural model — is the first in a series of seven timepieces by Renaud Tixier, each reimagining a pillar of classical watchmaking through a contemporary lens.
With the opening of several leading retail points in Asia, the brand — which has made it its mission to redefine traditional watchmaking archetypes through cutting-edge technical innovation — is expanding its global footprint.
In Japan, the brand has established a dedicated presence to better serve the local market through Villa Foch Ginza, a prestigious members club located in Tokyo where watch connoisseurs can have a direct contact with the brand. This new destination builds on pop-up events previously held at Wako Ginza and Eye Eye Isuzu, both well-established references in Japanese watch connoisseurship.

In Taiwan, the brand has joined forces with Maison Swiss Prestige, a key player in the region’s luxury watch retail landscape, to introduce its watches to an increasingly sophisticated clientele.
In Hong Kong, Renaud Tixier timepieces are available exclusively at The Lavish Attic, a collector-focused boutique known for curating horological excellence. The Lavish Attic offers direct access to Renaud Tixier’s first creation, the Monday, and an intimate retail experience for collectors in one of Asia’s most dynamic horological hubs.
“I was lucky to be involved with the Renaud Tixier project early on, and when I first saw the Monday, I knew it would resonate with our collectors,” said Piano Chow, founder of The Lavish Attic. “Their approach to innovation is thoughtful, their quality and finishing are unmatched, and their ethos aligns perfectly with what our boutique stands for — exceptional creations with lasting appeal.”
The ‘Monday’ Watch
The Monday, a three-hand watch that addresses for the first time the winding inefficiencies of a movement powered by a micro-rotor for the first time. By adding an inertia wheel at the heart of the self-winding mechanism—a patented invention from Dominique Renaud—the watch captures energy that would otherwise be lost. This innovative movement is made up of 274 components and is executed with a level of finishing on par with the best of the best, including no fewer than 187 inner beveled angles, thanks to Julien Tixier’s expertise in traditional crafts.
The neo-classical design of the watch perfectly complements the tastes of discerning individuals who appreciate both understatement and substance. Presented last year in its prototype version, it now reaches the culmination of a demanding and rigorous manufacturing process. Each timepiece delivers both function and flair, making it a standout addition to the curated selection for which the brand partners are renowned.
The expansion in Asia follows the brand’s strategic roadmap of thoughtful, high-quality growth supported by meaningful retail relationships. With an eye toward long-term value and excellence in service, Renaud Tixier continues to build a global community of collectors united by a shared appreciation for horological excellence.
About Renaud Tixier
Renaud Tixier was created by Dominique Renaud, legendary watchmaker and movement creator with a career spanning over 40 years. Born from his desire to reinterpret the archetypes of traditional watchmaking through a contemporary lens, Dominique partnered with Julien Tixier, a young and talented watchmaker, to explore the intersection of tradition and innovation. Envisioned as a collection of just seven creations produced in limited quantities, each timepiece features a patented innovation and reflects a perfect equilibrium between neo-classical aesthetics, exceptional finishing, and technical ingenuity. The inaugural model, a three-hand watch named Monday, introduces the brand’s first patented invention: a micro-rotor with a central inertia wheel that enhances the winding efficiency of the mechanism—an industry first. Renaud Tixier is where the boundaries of horological legacy are continuously redefined.
