A Landmark Collaboration Between Maserati and Bianchet

At Watches & Wonders 2026, Maserati and Bianchet present the UltraFino Maserati, a flying tourbillon timepiece conceived to mark the centenary of Maserati’s iconic Trident emblem.

Limited to 100 individually numbered pieces, the creation represents a convergence of Italian automotive excellence and Swiss haute horlogerie, uniting two disciplines defined by precision, performance and uncompromising design.

A Shared Philosophy of Performance and Design

The collaboration reflects a natural alignment between the two Maisons.

Maserati, founded in 1914 and synonymous with Italian performance engineering, continues to translate racing heritage into contemporary automotive design. Bianchet, rooted in Swiss watchmaking tradition, applies the principles of the Golden Ratio to create timepieces where aesthetics and mechanics are intrinsically linked.

The UltraFino Maserati stands as the meeting point of these philosophies where form, function and proportion achieve equilibrium.

Inspired by the Maserati MCPURA

The design of the UltraFino Maserati draws directly from the Maserati MCPURA, the brand’s latest high-performance supercar.

Visual parallels are precise and deliberate:

  • Skeletonised dial inspired by MCPURA’s wheel architecture

  • Trident motifs integrated into structural design

  • AI Aqua Rainbow finish translating automotive colour innovation to the wrist

  • Carbon fibre and titanium components mirroring the car’s lightweight construction

The flying tourbillon, prominently displayed, echoes the mechanical heart of the Nettuno V6 engine, a visual and functional centrepiece.

Engineering Excellence: The Bianchet UT01 Calibre

At its core lies the in-house UT01 calibre, engineered for extreme thinness and performance.

Key highlights include:

  • Ultra-thin movement (3.85 mm)

  • Flying tourbillon with variable inertia balance

  • 60-hour power reserve

  • 225 components and 29 jewels

  • Fully hand-finished with bevelled bridges and polished surfaces

The architecture is designed not only for visual impact but also for mechanical resilience, with shock resistance reaching up to 5,000 G, a rare specification in haute horlogerie.

A Limited Edition Celebrating 100 Years of the Trident

Produced in a limited run of 100 pieces, the UltraFino Maserati commemorates a century of Maserati’s Trident emblem.

Each timepiece is individually numbered and crafted at Bianchet’s manufacture in La Chaux-de-Fonds, reflecting the highest standards of Swiss watchmaking.

A Dialogue Between Automotive and Horological Mastery

More than a collaborative product, the UltraFino Maserati represents a shared philosophy where engineering excellence and aesthetic precision are inseparable.

The unveiling at Watches & Wonders 2026 further reinforces the growing dialogue between high-performance automotive design and contemporary haute horlogerie.
