Davosa: Ternos Professional Black Rock Automatic

From the Depths of the Earth

PRESS RELEASE | 367 WORDS | 3 MINUTE READ

It is no coincidence that many volcanically active areas of the Earth are among the most popular diving destinations. The volcanic rock formations underwater create ideal habitats for sponges, algae, and small marine creatures. These, in turn, provide a food source for larger ocean dwellers and ultimately attract majestic predatory fish.

The latest limited edition of the Ternos Professional, aptly named "Black Rock," interprets this fascinating underwater ecosystem in both design and functionality.

Dial with a Unique Relief Structure

In various parts of the world, lava rises from underground chambers to the surface, shaping impressive rock formations or even island structures. The dial surface of the DAVOSA Ternos Black Rock brings this natural process to life: a unique, deep black relief structure with organic lines forms the distinctive feature of the Black Rock. Set within a DLC-coated black case, the watch showcases the traditional quality characteristics of the Ternos Professional series.

Uncompromising Functionality

Superluminova BGW9 applied to the numerals, hands, and the luminescent dot on the bezel ensures optimal readability at night – an essential trait for a professional diving watch. The 50 ATM water-resistant case, equipped with an automatic helium valve, anti-glare, scratchresistant sapphire crystal, and a matte high-tech ceramic bezel, leaves nothing to be desired in terms of functionality. The DAVOSA Ternos Professional Black Rock is available in two strap variations: a lightweight, integrated rubber strap with a folding clasp, and a robust, black coated TriaLink metal bracelet. Both options offer exceptional comfort, catering to individual preferences.

Strictly Limited Edition

The limited edition of only 500 pieces is prominently visible on the case back of the watch: amidst a relief of stylised carbon fibres, the individual number is engraved, which is also repeated in the accompanying limitation certificate. A beautifully polished wooden box completes the exclusive set. The DAVOSA Ternos Professional Black Rock Automatic will be available from May 2025, starting at €1,160.
