Louis Erard Expands The 2340 Collection With New Mauve And Forest Dial Variations
The independent Swiss watchmaker introduces two new expressions of its integrated-bracelet 2340 platform, pairing slim proportions and hybrid construction with distinct new dial textures and tones.

When Louis Erard introduced the 2340 collection in 2025, the independent Swiss maison entered new territory. Defined by its integrated bracelet architecture, hybrid titanium and stainless steel construction and sharply restrained proportions, the collection marked a departure from the regulator-focused identity long associated with the brand. Now, Louis Erard expands the line with two new dial executions, Mauve and Forest, exploring how colour and texture alone can transform the character of an established design without altering its underlying structure.
The foundation remains unchanged. The case still measures 40mm in diameter with a slim 8.95mm profile, achieved through the use of the Sellita SW300-1 automatic calibre, while the integrated bracelet construction continues to define the visual identity of the watch. What changes here is the atmosphere.
Colour As Architecture
For Louis Erard, the dial becomes the central point of expression in the new references.
The 2340 Mauve introduces a softer visual language through a luminous purple surface accented by an oblong stamped “pill” texture. The pattern creates subtle dimensionality across the dial while preserving the collection’s minimalist geometry. Under changing light, the lacquered surface shifts between muted softness and metallic brightness, giving the watch a more fluid and contemporary personality.
The 2340 Forest takes a more graphic direction. Its deep green dial features a horizontal lined texture that introduces structure and visual tension across the surface. Compared to the rounded rhythm of the Mauve execution, Forest feels more architectural and restrained, closer to industrial design language than decorative flourish. Both retain the same essential dial architecture: a transferred minute track, faceted rhodium-plated indexes with blue-emission Super-LumiNova and the engraved satin-finished “LE” plate positioned at 3 o’clock.
The 2340 Platform
It is named after Le Noirmont’s postal code, the Swiss Jura village where Louis Erard is based. The 2340 collection represents the brand’s modern integrated sports-watch platform.
The construction combines satin-finished titanium with polished stainless steel accents across the bezel, crown, centre links and caseback, creating a contrast between lightness and definition. Titanium reduces overall wrist weight, while polished steel introduces sharper transitions across the case architecture.
One of the defining design details remains the polished gadroons integrated into the flanks of the case, subtly concealing the bracelet transition while giving continuity to the overall silhouette. The integrated bracelet itself consists of 92 individual components, tapering fluidly into the case and secured with a butterfly folding clasp. The result is a watch designed less around visual aggression and more around proportion, flow and material interplay.
Slim Profile, Everyday Wearability
Powering both references is the Sellita SW300-1 automatic movement operating at 4Hz with an approximate 56-hour power reserve. The movement’s slim 3.6mm architecture allows the 2340 to maintain notably restrained proportions for an integrated-bracelet sports watch. At under 9mm thick, the watches sit closer to contemporary urban sports watches focused on refinement rather than overt ruggedness, an approach that aligns closely with Louis Erard’s broader design philosophy under Manuel Emch’s direction.
Detail-Driven Evolution
Rather than redesigning the 2340 entirely, Louis Erard uses Mauve and Forest to demonstrate how minimal interventions can recalibrate the identity of a watch. The architecture remains intact. The proportions remain controlled. But through texture, colour and light interaction, the two new references introduce distinctly different personalities within the same framework.
It is a continuation of Louis Erard’s recent trajectory, one that prioritises detail, material contrast and design experimentation without abandoning accessibility or mechanical integrity.
