Cartier reintroduces the Roadster, a timepiece that first defined a bold new direction in watch design upon its debut in 2002. Inspired by the world of automotive engineering, the Roadster established itself through a distinctive visual language rooted in speed, precision and mechanical aesthetics.
Now returning to the forefront, the new Roadster evolves this identity while preserving the core elements that made it an icon.

The Roadster’s signature form remains instantly recognisable, yet has been carefully refined to achieve greater harmony and fluidity.
The case, bezel and crown are seamlessly integrated, enhancing both visual balance and ergonomic comfort. The interplay between crystal and metal reinforces the watch’s sculptural silhouette, while new rivets on the bezel accentuate its mechanical character.
Available in gold, steel and gold-and-steel combinations, the collection is offered in medium and large sizes, broadening its versatility while maintaining its strong design identity.
An Iconic Dial, Reinterpreted
The dial retains its unmistakable codes, including Roman numerals, a rail-track minute scale and a circular striated motif reminiscent of automotive gauges.

Sword-shaped hands, in blue or anthracite, are treated with Super-LumiNova® for legibility

The Roadster is powered by two in-house self-winding mechanical movements:
Calibre 1847 MC for the large models
Calibre 1899 MC for the medium models
