Photo Courtsey: Exaequo Melting Watch

Time continues to melt—fluid, elusive—in the new models of the Exaequo Melting Watch. A symbol of subjective time and dreamlike reality, it reinvents itself once again without compromising the identity that made it an icon of style and thought—worn by legendary figures such as Paul McCartney and Jim Carrey. These two new variants enrich the collection, reaffirming its deep connection with surrealist aesthetics and with a vision of time that is not measured, but felt. One of the new versions replaces the iconic Roman numerals with black Arabic numerals in a script-style font, resembling quick notes scribbled in a dreamlike state or secret messages left in a subconscious diary. A seemingly simple detail that radically transforms the dial’s appearance, lending it a more personal, intimate, vibrant, and playful character, with a striking contrast between the black numerals and white background.

Alongside it, a new fumé dial version with traditional Roman numerals conjures up liquid transparencies, fading memories, and distant dreams. Its shifting shades move across the surface like a fine mist, suggesting a time that cannot be grasped—only intuited. This is the most enigmatic and solemn face of the Exaequo Melting Watch, reminding us how fragile, shifting, and interpretive reality can be—perfect for a bold and introspective style. Both the new versions retain the unmistakable asymmetrical case in 316L stainless steel—brushed for the fumé version and treated with yellow gold PVD for the one featuring Arabic numerals—with dimensions of 47 mm by 28 mm. They feature a domed plexiglass crystal, a caseback secured by four screws (customizable and water-resistant up to 30 meters), and a Ronda751 electromechanical movement, ensuring precision and reliability.

Snake-pattern straps in black and brown—also available separately—complement each model with style and coherence. The soft, flowing "hyper-melt" buckles echo the case color and reinforce the watch’s surreal spirit. With these new visions, the Exaequo Melting Watch continues to narrate a time that is unconventional, personal, and free—turning it into a symbolic and aesthetic experience to wear on your wrist every day. A celebration of art, identity, and thought that refuses to conform—available in strictly limited editions of just 301 pieces per model.
